Rob's weekly news wrap

Examiner.com has an excellent weekly news wrap for our favorite vampire:

Robert Pattinson has done a good job of staying off the radar in the past few weeks. However, there is a bit of news to mention from this past week and the weekend.
Charlie Bewley, Pattinson's co-star who takes the role of Demetri in the Twilight Saga: New Moon, spoke to Hollywood.com about Rob last week. Bewley discussed his empathy for Rob in terms of being sought out and targeted by the paparazzi:
"I feel sorry for him a little bit ... He's like a paparazzi fugitive right now. He can't leave his house. He's the most photographed person in the world."

Rumors that Pattinson would be taking on a role in Peter Berg's upcoming film, Dune, were shot down. It turns out that Pattinson will not be starring in the film. The star currently has several confirmed upcoming projects, including Unbound Captives and Bel Ami. Fans can also look forward to seeing Pattinson in the Twilight Saga: New Moon, coming to US theaters on November 20, Remember Me, coming to US theaters on February 12, 2010, and the Twilight Saga: Eclipse, coming to US theaters on June 30, 2010.

Pattinson will be appearing on the cover of Sci Fi magazine's December 2009 issue. The issue features an article on New Moon. Scans of the magazine can be found here!

Jack Hudson, who plays the role of Royce King II in Eclipse, spoke out about Pattinson's fame issues:
"I don't think he gets to hang out with many people because he's sort of jailed to his room. He can't leave without being followed by a hundred people. There's a price to fame. But hopefully he's handling it okay."

Tim Gunn, a Project Runway guru, isn't impressed with Rob's style and doesn't seem to think he's material for any best-dressed lists. While at the Marshall's "Shop Til You Drop" event, Gunn shared his view on Pattinson's style:
"I mean, he could ... he could be stunning, but I think it's a little sloppy for my taste."

Pattinson and his Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart were seen out and about in Vancouver this past weekend. The duo enjoyed a meal at Pinkys Steakhouse and Cocktail Lounge in the Yaletown neighborhood. Unlike when they were filming New Moon, the cast of Eclipse has kept themselves out of the public light during most of filming. Let's hope that as time progresses, both Pattinson and Stewart get a little more breathing room.
